Pick a pack — a genre, an artist, your own album — and Loom walks you through writing the song. You make the choices. We hold the bounds.
Slow, hypnotic, warm-bodied house music in the lineage of All Day I Dream (Lee Burridge), Sol Selectas (Sabo), Cafe De Anatolia, Maktub. Acoustic and world percussion lead; ethnic instruments (oud, kora, duduk, ney, hang, kalimba) sit beside analog pads. Cinematic, ritual, patient. Often described as "desert", "dawn", "ceremony", "sunset". Not a drop genre — energy swells and recedes rather than detonates.
A 9-track anthemic melodic techno album by Tiago Savile (James Lumley-Savile's Portuguese-name artist project), built from folk and acoustic DNA, verse/chorus/bridge songwriting, and chantable collective vocals. Four-on-the-floor techno foundation meets folk stomp-clap logic; banjo and folk fingerpicking translated into synth arpeggiators; vocals designed for shared singing. Lisbon-rooted, bilingual in places (English landing in Portuguese on the hinge track). Explicitly political content — Palestinian rights, critiques of unchecked power — held inside emotionally honest, collective music.
A genre, an artist study, or your own album project. Each pack is a structured set of sounds, structures, and conventions.
Each pack opens its own spokes — feeling, lead, ostinato, arrangement, lyric, structure, chords. Start anywhere. Move sideways.
